Welcome!

Welcome!

If you have a passion for art history, fostering artistic expression, lifelong learning, and finding fresh ways to support young artists, this is the space for you!

Welcome to The Yellow Art Book: a vibrant resource for international IB Art educators and creative teachers who believe in the power of art to inspire, connect, and communicate.

Launched in September 2025 by educator and creator Emma Butler, The Yellow Art Book is an independent publication built from a love of art history, creative expression, and lifelong learning.

This platform exists to help you inspire students to find their voice, think critically, and share ideas that truly matter to them — while supporting you in building thoughtful, innovative curricula that make art education meaningful.

The platform is very new and may evolve into a space for multiple authors. We’re just getting started — exciting things ahead!
